The Chiropractors and the Snowdrop Lane Clinic Team
Lowrie Jayne Evans
Chiropractor
BSc(Hons)Chiropractic, MRCC
I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2008 with a BSc(Hons) Chiropractic then spent 4 years treating patients from a practice in my home town of Merthyr Tydfil. I relocated to Pembrokeshire in early 2013 working from a clinic in Haverfordwest and providing locum cover to clinics in Pembroke and Fishguard.

LJ Chiropractic opened in March 2017. We hold the PPQM award from the Royal College of Chiropractors which means we have proven to work together with our patients and involve them in decision making.

In January 2018 I took over at Pembroke Chiropractic Clinic and I split my time between the two clinics. I spend less time there now as it is in the capable hands of Steve and Ben.

I am:

-
Registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC)
-
Fully insured.
-
A member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA)
-
A Member of the Royal College of Chiropractors.(RCC)
-
A PRT trainer for the RCC and mentor for new graduates.

I host regular CPD evenings at my clinics for other chiropractors and health care professionals.

As a chiropractor it is important to take courses regularly to develop my skills and provide the best care I can. I have also studied:

-
PGC in Clinical Chiropractic Development
-
Dry needling (acupuncture)
-
Assessing and treating the paediatric patient
-
Understanding and managing psychosocial barriers in MSK conditions

I will try and help any patient with any problems and pains they have but I am especially interested in helping patients with hypermobility spectrum disorders and jaw/TMJ/TMD pain due to experiencing them first hand.

When I am not working I spend my time on the beaches, coastal paths and woodlands of Pembrokeshire with Missy and George, my springer spaniels.

There has recently been the addition of Frankie to the family, who gave us all a shock appearing at 31 weeks! He is currently less trouble than the spaniels!
I used to read constantly but now I'm obsessed with podcasts and audible books. I love going out for food and all local food suggestions are welcome and ecouraged!
I am massively into music but I'll let you guess which genre is my favourite! (Hint: I usually end up with neck pain after a gig!)
